LeDuc wins a New England outdoor title for third straight year

SPRINGFIELD, Mass., May 3 – Connecticut College’s Mike LeDuc, a senior from Canton, won a New England Division III title for the third straight season at the New England championships Saturday at Springfield College. 

LeDuc ran a school record time of 3:51.13 to win the 1,500 meters. LeDuc previously won the 5,000 meters in 2013 and 2012 at the New England meet. Connecticut College finished 18th in the meet that was won by MIT.

Upcoming meets include the New England championships for many Division I, II and III schools next weekend at Westfield State, the ECAC Division III championship meet on May 15-16 at RPI and the NCAA Division III national championship meet on May 22-24 at Ohio Wesleyan University.
