2019 American Legion baseball state tournament

MERIDEN, July 18 — Pairings for Connecticut’s 2019 American Legion baseball tournament have been released. Thirty-two teams qualified for the tournament in the 19 and under division.

Teams have been split up into two sectional tournaments — Northern and Southern. In each sectional tournament, there are four groups of four. The winners of each group advance to the Northern Division finals and Southern Division finals.

The winner of the Southern Division and Northern Division will play a best-of-3 series for the state championship. The top two teams in the Connecticut tournament will advance to the Northeast Regional in Shrewsbury, Mass., on August 7-11.
