CANTON, October 25 – For the third time in team history, the Canton High girls volleyball has earned an invitation to the CIAC Class S state tournament.

The Warriors secured their first tournament berth since 2016 for fifth-year head coach Eileen Holden with a 25-17, 25-23, 25-15 win over Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy (HMTCA) on Friday night in a North Central Connecticut Conference match.

Not only did Canton (8-10, 4-8 NCCC) secure a tournament bid but they avenged a 3-1 loss to HMTCA in September.
