Two Falcons earn All-State honors

Two Avon High girls basketball players were recently recognized with All-State honors.

At the recent Connecticut High School Coaches Association’s All-State banquet, Avon’s Lindsay Horbatuck, right, earned All-State honors for the second year in a row. Teammate Ariana LaFrance, left, was named to the Academic All-State team in Class L. In the middle is Avon coach Frank Waters.
