LeDuc turns in national caliber performance in steeplechase

NEW LONDON, April 6 — Canton’s Mike LeDuc, a sophomore at Connecticut College in New London, turned in the 2nd fastest time in the 3000 meter steeplechase among Division 3 athletes Friday at Princeton. LeDuc finished eighth in the 3000 steeplechase with a time of 9:09.69. Last spring, he earned Div. 3 All-American honors in the 3000 steeplechase taking sixth with a school-record time of 9:03.72 at the NCAA Div. 3 national championships.
