STORRS, Jan. 14 – The University of Connecticut women’s basketball team made just their second appearance of the season at Gampel Pavilion Wednesday night and had little problem with Temple in a 92-58 victory. Sophomore Morgan Tuck hit 11-of-12 shots from the field and led the No. 2 Huskies (15-1, 5-0 AAC) with 24 points. Brianna Stewart added 18 and Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis scored 17. Freshman Kia Nurse had 13 including four 3-point shots. Tim Gaffney of Litchfield County Sports tries to find something interesting to write about in another blowout win.
