Six Canton athletes earn All-State honors in fall campaign

Six Canton High athletes earned first team All-State honors for their play this fall — boys soccer players Miles Deiulis and Thomas Gibbons, girls soccer player Brooke Potter, field hockey players Lyla O’Connor and Erin Mackin and volleyball player Sophia Mates.

Note: Canton is part of the co-op football program hosted by Granby. … Luke Maher (LB) and George Horst (P) were selected to the New Haven Register/GameTimeCT’s second team. It was the 90th year that the publication has selected an All-State football team.
