With win, Lewis Mills secures spot in CIAC Division III state tournament
BURLINGTON, Jan. 17, 2023 – Eli Pelletier scored 17 points with Connor Evans adding 13 points as the Lewis Mills boys basketball team secured a spot in the CIAC Division III state tournament with a 61-40 win over Wethersfield on Tuesday night.
The Spartans improved to 8-2 with their seventh win in the last eight games.
Evans pulled down 16 rebounds in the winning effort while Charlie Joiner dished out seven assists. Pelletier and Jon Schibi, who had 11 points, each had three 3-point shots.
Mills returns to action on Friday when they host Vinal Tech in Burlington beginning at 6:30 p.m.
