Roundup: Farmington rolls past E.O. Smith in season opener
FARMINGTON, Sept. 14 – Ivan Guadalupe ran for a team-high 95 yards and two touchdowns as Farmington won its season opening contest Friday night with a 28-6 decision over visiting E.O. Smith. The Indians led 12-6 at halftime but shutout the Panthers in the second half. Guadalupe ran for his second TD of the game and QB Jeremy Buck iced the contest with a two-yard run in the fourth quarter.
In his first varsity start, Buck completed 11-of-19 passes for 139 yards and one interception. Anthony Carpenter pulled down four passes for 57 yards while Kenny Jones had three catches for 59 yards.
