KIRKLAND, Wash. — Canton’s Bob Barnes has spent the past week in Kirkland, Washington working as an umpire at the Little League Junior Softball (ages 13-14) World Series. It is Barnes’ first appearance at the World Series. The event concludes on Saturday.

Semifinals were held on Friday with the championship game on Saturday.
