Conard wins CCC fall boys golf championship over Farmington

NEW BRITAIN, Oct. 20, 2022 – Northwest Catholic’s Cole Banning won a four-man playoff on the third hold to win the Central Connecticut Conference’s fall boys golf championship Thursday at Stanley Golf Course in New Britain.

Banning, Conard’s Will Gregware, Farmington’s Sam Powell and Glastonbury’s Gavin Kvadus each finished with a 73 to force a playoff after 18 holes.

Conard had three golfers in the top 10 to beat Farmington by three strokes, 307-310 to win the CCC fall championship.

Avon and Lewis Mills finished tied for ninth place with 344. Blake Barrett finished fifth to lead Avon with a 75 while Max Dinunzio led Lewis Mills with an 81.
