Sun schedule two preseason games in May

The new-look Connecticut Sun will play two preseason games before they open up the 2023 WNBA campaign. The Sun announced Wednesday that they will play against New York and former Sun star Jonquel Jones on Wednesday, May 10, at 11:30 a.m. at the Mohegan Sun Arena.

Connecticut will close out their preseason campaign against Atlanta on Sunday, May 14 at 3 p.m. at Gateway Center Arena in College Park, Maryland.

Last year, the Sun beat Atlanta in their lone preseason game, 94-78 in Uncasville. Dating back to the 2015 season, the Sun are 15-2 in preseason contests.

Connecticut opens the 2023 regular season on Friday, May 19 at Indiana at 7 p.m. The first home game is Sunday, May 21 when the Sun host Washington at 1 p.m.
