Simsbury’s long-time athletic trainer and nurse Emily Lou McLean is retiring after 38 years of service to Simsbury High athletes.
SIMSBURY, May 11 – Simsbury High will honor long-time athletic trainer Emily Lou McLean on Sunday, May 15 in the courtyard at the high school from 1-4 p.m.
She will be recognized for her 38 years of service to a variety of Simsbury High athletic programs including the football program.
The event is open to the public and refreshments will be served. Anyone wishing to send a donation for a gift for Emily can do so by sending a check made payable to Simsbury High and writing “Emily’s gift” in the memo line.
