New nickname for ice hockey co-op team

WINDSOR, Dec. 14 — Avon is part of a tri-op ice hockey team this winter with Windsor and East Granby. Windsor is the host school, led by coach Jessie Peter.  The co-op team, officially known as Windsor, plays in the CCC South conference. The team has adopted a new name — the Wave for
Windsor, Avon, East Granby.
