FARMINGTON, Oct. 2 – The Farmington High football team scored 24 unanswered points in the second half and won their third straight game with a 36-13 win over Bristol Central on Sunday. It was the completion of Friday night’s game was was suspended by heavy rain and lightning with 1:01 left in the second quarter and the Indians leading, 14-6.
Adam Buono finished the game with a pair of touchdown runs, including a 22-yard run in the third quarter. Brian Logan, Jeremy Buck and Ivan Guadalupe each had TDs for the Indians.
Bristol Central (1-1) took the lead when Mike Benites scored on an 83-yard kickoff return to begin the game. Farmington received a 2-yard TD run from Brian Logan with 7:17 left in the second quarter and a 6-yard run from Buono with 3:46 left in the quarter.
