The Avon Booster Club will host its Falcon 5K road race on Sunday morning, Sept. 23, at 9 a.m., beginning and ending at Avon High. The 3.1 mile road race is dedicated in memory of the late Mellissa Anne Andrew, an Avon High student and runner, who died in an auto accident in August 2010.
Proceeds will benefit the Avon High School Booster Club whose mission is to aid and assist in the development and enhancement of all athletic programs of the Avon School System. For more information about the race and how to enter, click on this PDF.

The first Falcons 5K was held in September 2010.
