Volunteers recognized for their help in building press box at Canton High

CANTON — The Friends of Canton Football booster organization dedicated the press box recently at West Field at Canton High where the football and lacrosse programs have their home games. A plaque will be mounted on the press box in recognition of several residents and local businesses for their time, talent and generosity toward construction of the press box and storage facility.

The individuals recognized were Lynn Miner of Canton Community Health Fund, Canton Lion treasurer Kevin Sullivan, Tim Lawler of Lawler Electric, Tom Getler of Valley View Builders, Karl Grabowski and the Janet Grabowski Memorial Fund and David Miner of Miner Lumber.

Presenting the plaque was A.J. Zukowski, president of Friends of Canton Football, Dee Stephan, athletic director at Canton High; Kevin Case, superintendent of the Canton School System and Gary Gula, principal at Canton High.
