The Connecticut Sports Writers Alliance is pleased to release the 2013 Connecticut High School Football Record Book. This is the 14th edition of the record book, a compilation of records and historical information from newspapers, team statisticians, coach’s records and individual research.
Some of the new information in this year’s record book include:
- Information on historic football performances from girls
- The year-end state coaches polls are complete with voting for each season
- Largest crowds to see a high school football game in Connecticut.
Several athletes earned new state records in 2012 including:
- most career touchdowns,
- most TD passes caught in a single season,
- most yards passing in a game,
- most TD passes thrown in a season
- most interceptions returned for TDs in a single season.
