Endless days of summer now just a tidy bunch of precious memories

The summer still has a few days to go but columnist Rick Wilson of Litchfield County Sports.com reflects back on the summer that was as his 13-year-old son walks down the street with a pair of friends.

“The future is fun and that’s the way is should be when your 13,” Wilson writes. “It is harder the older you get as time doesn’t meander by – it races by with Indianapolis 500 speed.”

Take a second to reflect on the summer that was for the Wilson family and the memories that were formed. “I wondered where it all went,” he writes.
