HARTFORD, March 13 — In the tradition of big-time shots by big-time guard, Ryan Boatright sank a three-pointer with less than a second remaining to lift the University of Connecticut men’s basketball team in the AAC semifinals Friday night at the XL Center. Boatright’s trey gave the Huskies a 57-54 decision over Cincinnati and a berth in the semifinals Saturday against No. 2 Tulsa. The Huskies need to continue their run in the AAC tournament if they hope to defend their national championship in the NCAA tournament. More on this from Patrick Tiscia at Litchfield County Sports and UConn Sports Information.
