Another buzzer beater from Boatright keeps UConn’s NCAA hopes alive

HARTFORD, March 13 — In the tradition of big-time shots by big-time guard, Ryan Boatright sank a three-pointer with less than a second remaining to lift the University of Connecticut men’s basketball team in the AAC semifinals Friday night at the XL Center. Boatright’s trey gave the Huskies a 57-54 decision over Cincinnati and a berth in the semifinals Saturday against No. 2 Tulsa. The Huskies need to continue their run in the AAC tournament if they hope to defend their national championship in the NCAA tournament.
