TAMPA, Fla. , April 6 – The UConn women’s basketball team plays Notre Dame on Tuesday night for an opportunity to win its 10th NCAA national championship and its third in a row. The crew from Litchfield County Sports.com is in Florida following the Huskies. Here is what they were writing about today.

Rick Wilson: UConn’s Morgan Tuck is the All American player without the hardware. She shows it on the court.

Tim Gaffney: UConn coach Geno Auriemma is sportwriters’ dream – honest and open. “The gems flow and the soundbites dance off the podium like the sun off the pool,” Gaffney writes.

Rick Wilson: Ansonia’s Tierney Lawlor is a former walk-on who has gone from the Naugatuck Valley League to being a part of the best team in America.
