Huskies beat Army for first 2-0 start in seven years

EAST HARTFORD – It’s not about style these days for the University of Connecticut football team. It’s about victories. A year ago, the Huskies and their fans suffered through a miserable two win season. Now, after two weeks of the 2015 campaign, UConn is 2-0 for the first time in seven years  with a 22-17 decision Saturday over Army at Pratt & Whitney Stadium. Columnist Rick Wilson of Litchfield County Sports looks at where the Huskies stand after two games and two victories.

Since 2009, the Collinsville Press has been providing award-winning coverage of sports and news in the Farmington Valley and across Connecticut.
