Pasini captures Falcon 5K road race

AVON, Oct. 30 – Jose Pasini of Avon beat Anish Rajamanickham by seven seconds to win the third Falcon 5K road race Sunday morning at Avon High School. Middletown’s Salena Chatman was the top woman in the race, finishing 12th with a winning time of 23:20, nine seconds ahead of Avon’s Esther Aronson. Seventy-five runners participated in the race. The race was a fundraiser for the Avon Booster Club.
