Three Canton seniors play in post-season basketball All-Star games

CANTON, March 20, 2017 – Canton seniors Emily Briggs and Abbe Skinner played in Monday’s Connecticut High School Coaches Association’s annual girls basketball All-Star Festival at North Haven High School.

Briggs and Skinner, who helped Canton win their second straight Class S championship on Saturday, played on the West team in the Class S/M contest. The two played for Bob McMahon, who coached Thomaston, who the Warriors beat in the title tilt.

The 42^nd annual CHSCA boys basketball All-Star Festival will be held Wednesday, March 22 at Maloney High.

Canton senior Ethan Burke and Lewis Mills senior Trevor Baker are playing in the Class M/S game for team Charter Oak at 6:15 p.m. at Maloney High. Proceeds benefit the CHSCA and the charities that the organization supports.
