BRIDGEPORT, March 27 — It may have looked easy but it wasn’t. We saw the spoils of victory and plenty of hard, hard work on Monday night as the University of Connecticut women’s basketball team beat No. 10 Oregon, 90-52, to earn a berth in the Final Four of the NCAA women’s basketball tournament for the 10th consecutive year.
Navigating this path to success was anything but easy. The Huskies engaged in a daily battle to improve, to solidify roles and to mold themselves into the type of team that could vie for a national championship. Steadily, they progressed. Steadily, they found cohesion. Read more about Monday night’s victory from Rich Elliott and our friends at Litchfield County Sports.
