GRANBY – The second annual Jared Grier Granby High alumni track meet will be held Sunday, June 4, at Granby High. Entry fee is $25 and proceeds benefit Grier family. Grier graduated from Granby High in 2014 and was a freshman studying mechanical engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester. He was injured when he fell out of a tree in May 2015.
At Granby, he was a part of the outdoor and indoor track and field team. He still holds the indoor track and field school record in the 300 meters. If you’re interested in participating in the alumni meet, please signup online.
