Tri-State League All-Star Game to benefit Focus Center for Autism

Canton veteran Jim Spirito will be representing the Crushers in Saturday’s Tri-State League All-Star Game in Torrington.

TORRINGTON, June 26 – The Tri-State Baseball League will host their annual All-Star Game on Saturday, June 29, at 2 p.m. at historic Fuessenich Park.

All proceeds from the game will benefit the Focus Center for Autism and officials from the charity will throw out the first pitch.

Torrington radio station WAPJ-FM will be broadcasting and food will be available. Representatives from each team will be at the park.

Canton will be represented by veteran Jim Spirito and Crusher skipper Tom Dubois will be part of the All-Star coaching staff.
