Avon slips past Lewis Mills by one stroke for fifth win

AVON, Sept. 15, 2022 – Nate Gaul, Blake Barrett and Luke Coppen each shot under 40 to help the Avon High boys golf team beat Lewis Mills by a singe stroke, 155-156, Thursday at Blue Fox Golf Course. Lewis Mills’ Aidan Carrano was medalist with a one-over-par round of 35. Avon improves to 5-4 on the season while Mills slips to 0-6.
