Maloney sweeps Mills spikers; Lions beat Mills golfers

BURLINGTON, Sept. 19, 2022 – Peyton Pulaski had 16 kills and six serving aces to lead the Maloney High girls volleyball team to a 3-0 sweep over Lewis Mills in CCC South action on Monday. Maloney improves to 3-1 on the year. Crystal Sor had five digs for Lewis Mills, which dropped their second straight match (3-2).

HARWINTON, Sept. 19, 2022 – Northwest Catholic had two golfers shoot under 40 Monday to lead the Lions to a six-stroke victory over Lewis Mills, 164-170,  in Central Connecticut Conference boys golf action at Fairview Farms Golf Course. Cole Banning was medalist with an even-par 36 with teammate Tanner Ostop shooting a 39 for the Lions. For Lewis Mills (0-7), Aiden Carrano led the Spartans with a 39.
