GRANBY, Jan. 13, 2023 – Matthew Benedetti had a season-high 19 points and Brandon Powell added 16 as the Canton High boys basketball team won their third straight game with a 56-42 win over Granby in North Central Connecticut Conference action on Friday night.
The Warriors (4-4, 3-1 NCCC) held the Bears to under 10 points in three of four quarters to earn the victory. Scott Simpson had 11 points to lead Granby (1-7, 0-3 NCCC).
Canton returns to action on Tuesday night when they host East Windsor at 6:45 p.m.
