WEST HARTFORD, April 17, 2023 – Michael Prisco was 3-for-4 with two RBI and his first home run of the season as the Avon High baseball team rolled to a 14-2 win over Conard in five innings Monday in CCC West action.
Avon (4-1) had a season-high 14 hits in the victory. Chase Beloin was 2-for-3 with four RBI and a double while Luke Coppen was 2-for-4 with three RBI. Ben Priest also doubled for the Falcons.
Four Avon pitchers limited Conard (3-3) to just five hits with Ethan Lavore picking up his first victory of the season.
The Falcons return to action on Wednesday when they host Rocky Hill at home at Buckingham Field beginning at 3:45 p.m.
