The Connecticut Sun are building their roster for their final season in Uncasville. Earlier this week, guard Marina Mabrey was selected by Toronto in the WNBA expansion draft.
On Thursday, the Sun announced that they acquired Diamond Miller from Dallas and that they signed Migna Touré to a training camp contact.
Connecticut sent Rayah Marshall to the Wings for Miller. The Sun drafted Marshall with the No. 25 pick in last year’s WNBA draft, the final pick in the second round. She averaged 1.7 points and 1.7 rebounds in 15 games.
Miller, a 6-foot-3 forward, was the No. 2 overall pick in the 2023 WNBA draft by Minnesota and earned All-Rookie honors in 2023 after averaging 12.1 points and 3.5 rebounds.
In 2025, she began the year with the Lynx but was traded to Dallas last August. She averaged 3.9 points and 2.0 rebounds in 15 games with the Wings.
Most recently, Miller has been playing for Athinaikos Qualco in the Greek Women’s Basketball League. In six games played during the regular season, she averaged 7.2 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.5 steals in 17.7 minutes per game. She also helped Athinaikos to the Eurocup Finals, averaging five points, 1.3 rebounds, and one assist in 9.1 minutes.
Touré, a native of Nevers, France, returns to Connecticut after most recently competing alongside Sun guard Leïla Lacan at the FIBA women’s basketball World Cup 2026 qualifying tournament for the French women’s national team. The 6-0 shooting guard averaged 10.8 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.4 assists over five games during the tournament.
During the 2025 offseason, she also played for Besiktas in the Turkish Women’s Basketball League, averaging 8.4 points, 2.6 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and a steal per game in 19 games
In other WNBA news, the WNBA and NBA Board of Governors have formally approved WNBA expansion teams in Cleveland, Detroit, and Philadelphia, the WNBA announced today. Cleveland will begin play in 2028, Detroit in 2029, and Philadelphia in 2030.
