AVON, Sept. 7 — The Avon High athletic department finalized its athletic budget and pay to play fees days after the school year began in September.
The delay was due to Avon’s attempt to find a co-op partner for the ice hockey team. Avon tried to partner with St. Paul but the St. Paul High administration rejected that proposal on August 25. In early September, Avon came to an agreement to be part of a co-op team with Windsor.
