Mills went ahead with just under 7 minutes when Luca Rubbo sent a long shot that beat the Simsbury keeper. Simsbury got two goals in the first 7 minutes of the second half, earning a penalty kick 3 minutes into the half and getting a Mills own goal just 5 minutes later. Mills continued to battle and tied the game with 8 minutes remaining when senior Ian Mayes put away a Dominik Wroblewski throw in. This was Wroblewski’s first game back since undergoing ACL surgery in February.
