WEST HARTFORD, July 29 — Juan Bisono hit a three-run home run to lift the Thunder to a victory in game 1 of the CCBL’s best-of-3 championship series at Hall High. Pedro Acevedo had an RBI double for West Hartford. On the mound, Colin Sledzik struck out six and allowed just four runs over 5 1/3 innings for the Thunder to earn the win.

EAST HARTFORD, July 30 — The Arrows evened the series with a victory at McKenna Field.
Game 3: West Hartford 4, Manchester 2
WEST HARTFORD, July 31 — West Hartford won its first-ever Connecticut Collegiate Baseball League championship with a 4-2 decision over Manchester at Hall High. Chris DeMorais hit a three-run home run in the bottom of the sixth inning to lead the Thunder. Pitcher Sam Spencer pitched 6 2/3 innings and fanned four to earn his second victory in a series-deciding contest.
