CANTON – The 23rd annual Lobster Loop road race will be Sunday at 8:30 a.m. at the Town Green in Canton. Race day registration for the 3.1 mile road race begins at 7:30 a.m. The fee is $25.
Over 500 runners participated in last year’s race, which was won by Farmington’s Chris Chisholm, 52, for the third time and Goshen’s Sami Glass, now 18. The field is generally full of runners from Canton and Avon. Race proceeds benefit the Canton Middle School’s Parent Teach Organization (PTO). The race generated nearly $10,000 last year.
