AVON — The recent benefit miniature golf tournament for Jason Bukowski, the freshman baseball coach at Avon High last spring, raised nearly $1,900 for the Bukowski family. Jason, the general manager of the Plainville American Legion baseball program, is recovering from injuries suffered after an apparent collision with a bicycle rider last July at the Plainville High baseball complex.

Connor Harris, a 15-year-old sophomore at Avon High, organized the event at Farmington Miniature Golf on Route 4 in Farmington. Click here for our story prior to the tournament. Donations are still being accepted to help the family. You can donate through a Go Fund Me account that has been set up for Jason and the Bukowski family.
