BLOOMFIELD, Oct. 9 – Canton’s Sophia Pelehach had seven kills while Emma Plourd had nine assists as the Warriors swept a non-conference match from the Metropolitan Learning Center (MLC) charter school in Blooomfield, 3-0 on Friday. Amber Harraden had six kills as the Warriors improved to 4-6 overall and 3-6 in the NCCC.
The Warriors won 25-9, 25-12 and 25-17. MLC, a Capital Region Education Council (CREC) school is now 5-7. Canton as the week off before hosting Hartford Classical next Friday at home at 5:30 p.m.
