Somers limits Canton to five hits in victory

SOMERS, May 18 – Sophia Pelehach had three extra-base hits in Canton’s 14-4 loss to Somers in NCCC action on Wednesday. Pelehach had a pair of doubles and a triple for the Warriors (2-16, 2-15 NCCC). Megan Hall and Anna Shine also had hits for Canton.

Somers sophomore Livia Nosal had three hits including a home run for the Spartans (10-8, 9-8 NCCC).

Canton returns to the diamond on Saturday morning when they travel to East Windsor for an 11 a.m. contest and the Warriors conclude the season on Monday when they host Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy (HMTCA) at home at 4 p.m.
