SOUTH WINDSOR, Aug. 4 – It took several days to complete but the Glastonbury Arrows have finally grabbed their first Connecticut Collegiate Baseball League championship.
The Arrows swept the best-of-3 championship series with a 4-2 victory in 10 innings over the Manchester Mavericks on Friday night at Rotary Field. Game two began on Tuesday night and was delayed several days by evening thunderstorms.
It was Glastonbury’s third trip in four years to the CCBL championship series. They were swept by Southington in 2014 and 2015
