FCIAC teams dominate girls lacrosse top 10 poll; Canton, Granby receive votes

Undefeated Canton and NCCC rival Granby are receiving votes in the state coaches top 10 girls lacrosse poll. The first poll of the season was released on Monday and FCIAC schools are once again dominating the poll with the top five schools in the poll from the FCIAC led by defending champion Darien. Six of the top 10 teams are from the FCIAC.

The five-time defending Class L champion Blue Wave (6-0) were a unanimous choice at No. 1.

Canton (4-0) remained undefeated on the season with a 12-11 win over previously unbeaten Granby (7-1) on Tuesday in overtime.
