Each of Canton’s fall sports teams participated in the school’s fall outreach initiative which was Play4theCure, raising nearly $400 for breast cancer research.

The teams also participated in other community service initiatives. The cross country team put wood chips on the trail behind the school and new boards over some wetlands to make the trail easier to run on and easier for the public to walk on the trail.

The girls soccer team did a youth soccer clinic while the field hockey program hosted a youth clinic for youngsters in town.

The volleyball team continued to raise money for the “Holden it Down for Morgan” fundraising program and participated in a walk for food and fuel in September.

The football team auctioned off some leaf raking with the winner getting the team coming to their home and clearing the yard of leaves.

The boys soccer and girls soccer team had a benefit scrimmage and collected food for the Canton Food Bank.
