Canton boys cross country teams wins two of three dual meets

STAFFORD, Oct. 6, 2022 – The Canton High boys cross country team picked up a pair of victories over East Windsor and Stafford on Thursday in North Central Connecticut Conference action in Stafford.

The Warriors beat East Windsor, 21-36 and topped host Stafford, 25-32. However, Bolton swept all three dual meets by shutout scores of 15-50 thanks to eight of the top 10 finishers, including the first seven of the race.

In the girls race, Canton’s Morgan Babbitt finished fourth. Babbit is the only girl from Canton racing so the Warriors forfeited to Bolton, 15-50. Canton, East Windsor and Stafford don’t have five runners to form a team so they did not score against each other.
