SIMSBURY, Jan. 5, 2022 – After a month-long break for the holidays, the Connecticut Whale get back on the ice. The Whale will be hosting defending Isobel Cup champion Boston on Friday night in Simsbury at the International Skating Center of Connecticut, beginning at 7 p.m.
The Whale closed out the 2022 portion of the season with a 6-4 win over Boston to snap a two-game losing streak. Connecticut (3-3-1) had a season-high six goals with league MVP Kennedy Marchment tallying two goals for the first time this season and Taylor Girard and Mallory Soulitos each getting three assists.
Girard has scored at least a point in Connecticut’s last six games.
