HIGGNAUM, Oct. 8 – Haddam-Killingworth quarterback Alex Segaline made things happen on both sides of the ball in Thursday night’s Pequot Conference football game. Segaline threw three touchdown passes to three different receivers and scored a touchdown on his own on a 55-yard interception return to lead H-K to a 44-18 win over Lewis Mills.
Noah Vinci also scored three TDs for the Cougars (2-3), rushing for two and catching a two-yard TD pass from Segaline.
Mills quarterback Trevor Baker threw a pair of touchdown passes to Matt Rinkus (11 yards) and Lucas Lanning (46 yards). Baker threw for 103 yards. Mike Ciccarelli led the Spartans (1-3) on the ground with 93 yards rushing and a touchdown. Colin Kennedy ran for 64 yards.
