Strong start helps Warriors beat Coventry for third straight victory

COVENTRY, Jan. 5 – The Canton High boys basketball team got off to a strong start in a 79-42 NCCC victory over winless Coventry on Tuesday night. The Warriors (3-1, 1-1 NCCC) led by 18 points after just one quarter.

Ethan Burke led a balanced effort for Canton with 18 points. Cam Neely added 12 while Luke Brown chipped in with 10 points. The Warriors return home Friday and will host Windsor Locks at 7 p.m.
