Booster Club recognizes Avon seniors planning to play collegiate sports

The Avon High Booster Club recently honored seniors who will be participating in collegiate athletics beginning next fall.

AVON, May 22 – The Avon High Booster Club recently recognized 17 senior athletes who plan on playing varsity sports in college. Athletes from seven different teams were represented at the reception that was attended by athletes, their coaches and families.

Avon athletic director Tim Filon congratulated the athletes on their accomplishments in athletics and academics.

“We are so proud of you,” he said. “Please keep in touch. Come back; visit us, and be an inspiration for the student-athletes coming after you.”
