The FCIAC has seven of the top eight teams in the latest top 10 girls lacrosse poll in balloting by coaches across the state.
Darien (4-0) remains No. 1 with New Canaan (4-1) coming in at No. 2. Wilton moved up to No. 3 with Staples (6-0) and Cheshire (4-1) rounding out the top five.
Pomperaug (6-0) finished tied for eighth with New Fairfield (4-0) coming in at No. 10. Pomperaug is the lone Class M team in the top 10 while New Fairfield is the only Class S team in the top 10.
