Ellington’s 104 points ties the record for most points allowed in a single game in Canton’s team history, which dates back to 1921. E.O. Smith beat Canton, 104-38, in 1990. It is just the fourth team to break 100 points in a game with the Warriors. The 63-point deficit is the third largest in team history. Collinsville lost by 63 in a 69-6 loss to Simsbury in 1921. The largest defeat in Canton’s team history was a 86-6 loss to Simsbury in 1921. Canton’s record for most points in game is 97, set in a win over Wolcott Tech in 1961.
