Spirit Week for spring sports begins Sunday in Avon

Avon High students rooting on their classmates during the basketball season.

AVON, May 6 – The first Spirit Week for spring sports at Avon High will be held beginning Sunday highlighting nearby contests for the Falcons.

The Avon High Booster Club, the Avon High athletic department and the student spirit group Falconatics are working together to highlight the contests.

Sunday, May 7
CREW vs. Farmington at the Middle of the Farmington Regatta at Tunxis Meade in Farmington, noon

Monday, May 8
GIRLS LACROSSE: Avon vs. Northwest Catholic, 4 p.m., at high school

Tuesday, May 9
TRACK & FIELD: Avon vs. Northwest Catholic, 4 p.m., at high school

Wednesday, May 10
SOFTBALL: Avon vs. Weaver, 3:45 p.m., at Fisher Meadows
BOYS TENNIS: Avon vs. Simsbury, 3:45 p.m., at Thompson Brook
